Also, for those interested I have listed on EBAY a beautiful and ornate Passionist/St Gemma metal wall crucifix with relic attached. It is solid metal with a solid-thick felt backing. Those interested can view it here:

"What happy moments I spent with Jesus! How could I return His affections? With what words could I express His love, and for this poor creature? Yet He did deign to come. It's truly impossible, yes, it is impossible not to love Jesus. How many times He asked me if I love Him and if I truly love Him. And do you still doubt it, my Jesus? So, He unites ever more closely with me, talks to me, says He wants me to be perfect, that He too loves me very much and I should reciprocate." -St Gemma Galgani

I wanted to thank you for your website on St. Gemma. I’m in RCIA and I was having a difficult time choosing a patron saint - most saints seem so perfectly out of reach, but Gemma really speaks to me.

What originally led me to St. Gemma was the date of her death - April 11th and Holy Saturday. I will be baptized this Easter Vigil, the 11th, and by a rare coincidence, on this year my birthday, April 12th, falls on Easter. It is not often that the dates align and Gemma’s last year coincides with this one, which for me will be the first in my new life.

I happened to find your site today – just in time to start her Novena this Friday. Thank you again.

Hi Deborah,
It is a pleasure to meet you.

It is wonderful to hear that you are in the RCIA and will be Baptised on Holy Saturday! What a special grace! I am sure you will find in St Gemma a special friend and patron before God.

I pray that God may draw you ever closer to Himself this Lent and guide you along in your spiritual journey.

United in the heart of Jesus,
Glenn

It's so inspired to read about the comment of Deborah.

On April 11th I will baptized a number of Chinese catechumens. I invited one young lady to use the name "Gemma" as her baptismal and confirmation name because April 11 is the Feast of St. Gemma.

Thanks Glenn again for reminding me of her Feast Day, that I can share that with the catechumen who have now chosen this beautiful name for Baptism. God bless.

Dear Father Anthony,
It is wonderful to hear from you again!

I am glad to hear of the Chinese Catechumens who will be coming into the Church on the Easter Vigil--blessed be God! Wonderful too is that one of them is taking the name "Gemma" as their patron! May St Gemma be their special patroness and friend before our loving God!
I will pray for the intentions of all the Catechumens.

I hope you have a blessed Holy Week and Easter.

Union in the hearts of Jesus and Mary,
Glenn
