In other news, in a few days will be posting a article about Pope John Paul II visit to the Monastery-Sanctuary of Saint Gemma in Lucca on September 23, 1989. To the left is a photo of Pope John Paul II adoring the Blessed Sacrament before the holy remains of St Gemma at the main altar of the Monastery-Sanctuary of St Gemma. (Special thanks to Janice who has provided numerous photos of this special occasion). As with all photos on this website, you can click on the photo to enlarge it.
-St Gemma Galgani, pray for us!

"Come, come Jesus, for I long for You day and night. Yes, I want You every hour and every moment, I want no one but You. You alone Jesus can satisfy me. Jesus, when I find myself in Your presence all my sufferings vanish at once." -St Gemma Galgani
